Khaled Kurbeh is a musician and composer living in Berlin. He layers textures of piano, synthesizer and field recordings as part of his artistic practice muhawalāt¹ and hawāmesh ².

His debut EP with oud player Raman Khalaf, Aphorisms (2017), was released on !K7 imprint Between Buttons, Berlin, and his forthcoming album, Likulli Fadāin Eqāéh [لكلّ فضاء إيقاعه]³, is set for release in 2025 on Research Records, Naarm/Melbourne. He has collaborated with Collective Ma’louba (FR/DE), Omar Elerian, Rhum and Clay (UK), Genevieve Fry and Abby Sundborn (AU), Nora Thiele, Tom Berkmann, Jonas Petry, RaumKlangEnsemble and Oriel Quartett (DE). He composed the soundtrack for Almorad Aldeeb's short film On The Dry Bank of the River [جفاف] which premiered at the 44th edition of the Cairo International Film Festival – nominated for the Youssef Chahin Award for the Best Short Film and the Special Jury Award.

In both solo and collaborative contexts⁴, Kurbeh has toured internationally in Europe and Australia at Norla Dome, Melbourne; Funkhaus, Berlin; Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Edinburgh; New Diorama Theatre, London; Synergy World Theater Festival, Novi Sad; Münchner Kammerspiele, Munich and XJAZZ Festival, Berlin.
